Thuslick may be added at 3 minutes per 25 kg bag. The solution easily disperses and may be added via hopper directly into the active system or thru pre-mixing. Concentration can vary dependant on mud type, density, well path design (anticipated torque and drag) and anticipated formation.
Use treatment of 6ppb (17.1 kg/m^3) to reduce torque and drag due to brittle formations (pressurized shales, coal, tectonically stressed rocks)
Engineer can calculate the torque and drag values suitable to the situation and adjust concentratin accordingly. If hole problems exist before utilizing Thuslick, it is advised to start with a higher concentration to drift down so long as desired effects are maintained. Engineering will dicate the amount added thereafter while considering factors such as dilution rates, solids control equipment, new hole and severity of problems.
.35 and .7 ppb (1-2kg/m^3) should be added daily. Control concentration by measuring the HTHP filtrate values, adding Thuslick when they increase. The temperature stability of Thuslick is in excess of 1,000 degrees farenheit (550 degrees celcius).
